Johnson won at TPC Boston playing his tried and true SuperStroke Pistol GT 1.0; Johnson’s 2nd win this season and 22nd career win on the PGA Tour.
Johnson started the round with a five-stroke lead and wasted no time in pummeling the competition. Simply put, Johnson played lights out throughout the entire tournament. He hit every green-in-regulation on the final day, and carded 11 pars, 6 birdies, and 1 eagle. Not to mention, his putting game was as solid as his demeanor.
Johnson closed with an impressive 8-under 63 to finish at 30-under and 254-total. This win brings Johnson into the #1 position for the FedEx Cup playoffs and #1 in the world rankings.
SuperStroke had an impressive week, not just on the PGA Tour but a remarkable 1st place at the Women’s British Open, a 1st place win on the European Tour, and bringing home the win on the Champions Tour!
